An Executive Director for a non profit organization has many stressful responsibilities, responsibilities such as raising money for non profit organizations such as Women's Resource Centers, Barrio Logan College Institute, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, American Legion and there are many more. All nonprofits have a team of workers that are working to keep the organization going to help the people that need the resources that these organizations provide. While the team is working to help people the Executive director is traveling to meet supporters and is constantly traveling to advertisethe organization to get new donors. Among the duties that the executive director has to do is hire the permanent staff and recruit volunteers they organize fund raising events and oversee them. Executive Directors keep track of all the paper work for the Organization. Although small non profit organizations do not need an Executive director they have the board and staff members to fulfill the duties of the Executive director. Non profits organizations that have up to three offices hire an executive director to act as a liaison between the board and staff of the organization.
Non profit Organizations like Women's Resource Center (WRC) help women, children and men get out of the cycle of constant abuse. These women, children and men have been threatened and endured domestic violence and sexual abuse. The Organization provides support, conseling, shelter and education. WRC has good highly qualified counselors and requires that volunteers go through classes that teach them how to help people with education and compassion. These centers feel warm and have an atmosphere that feels like home and is inviting. The friendly staff is ready to attend any crisis and is willing to be the shoulder to lean on. Non profits like WRC have executive directors a board and staff that are compassionate they have a big heart and they care about helping the people that have had the missfortune of enduring abuse of any kind.
