Geneticists, being scientists, commonly write laboratory reports. Geneticists also write speeches and for journals such as the Genetics Society of America and The American Journal of Human Genetics.
Journals are the number one way geneticists share information with the rest of the world. They share the insights they gain from their research in the articles so that doctors, other geneticists, and even common people can learn more about genes. This information could help save the lives of others as doctors could reference these studies in the treatment of their patients.

In the journal articles, geneticists often put images they took during their research and graphs to display their data.

Geneticists work hard to share their work with others so that one day they may help save someon's life. I think geneticists work to help other people.
