If I could have any possible job i would want to be a wedding planner. I would LOVE to be a part of such a big part of people’s lives and seeing all the personal details and planning come together on the night of the wedding. There are many parts of being a wedding planner there is the pre wedding and the day of. To get started you have to contact all the venues and vendors, while all trying to stay in budget. Once a venue and date is selected and confirmed with a deposit, it is time to begin selecting vendors. Just as is the case with venues, many of the best wedding vendors (photographers, videographers, florists, etc.) can book a year or more in advance. To ensure the best selection of vendors for your client you want to quickly begin booking appointments for vendors within your client’s budget and style. But when it comes to the wedding day thats my favorite part. Getting to see the end result when it is all over and there is no more stress--till the next wedding that is--and getting to see the bride and groom’s reactions of all the details coming together. Its also so emotional to watch the Father of the bride speeches, best friend toasts, first dances and getting to see all the tears and laughter in between. Finally being a wedding planner would allow me to love on people, be creative and celebrate amazing moments.
